Unleashing your potential in 2018

January is often a time when we ask ourselves a lot of questions & try to reevaluate: am I living up to my full potential? Should I be doing more? Is there something missing? What should I be doing with my future?

To answer these questions, you must first truly understand yourself, what you care about and what makes you unique.

This month, we discuss the challenges around understanding oneself and learn some self-enlightening techniques to start your year off right and unleash your potential.

The Art and Science of Influencing

Our very own Katherine Baker, Business Development Director at School of CEO's, professional coach, trainer, speaker and co-founder of Congress London will be speaking to us about how we can develop our influencing skills.

Influencing skills builds off your ability to network and is the perfect next step in our series of educational talks.  The more you know your stakeholder and the more rapport you have, the easier it will be to be influential.

There is an art and science behind influencing someone to do something your way. This talk will give you the interpersonal skills and communication techniques to effectively influence those around you, it will help you to ascertain the character of the person you are speaking with and how best to connect to them. It will allow you to uncover the real objections to your request, the real reason people say no and help you to communicate the right way to your stakeholders.

Nailing Networking

Exchanging a business card does not lead to meaningful or inspired connections. How can we inspire innovation, self development and curiosity?

For our third event we wanted to give everyone a chance to get to know the stellar group of women we've assembled in this network so we're having an interactive and informative session that will mix theory with practice.

This month's expert is Business and Leadership Coach and Networking Guru Amanda Davie who has founded The Intelligencia which specifically works to get senior female business leaders to meet and exchange ideas. She will be on hand to ensure that we're getting the most out of our encounters within the network and outside.

To read more about developing your network please see Amanda's blog which has trove of fantastic articles, here is one we like in particular Why smart Women Are Working Together to Win in Business

Places are limited for this event, to register please email us for more details: www.congress-london.com/contact/
